Domaines de recherche et profilLa professeure Josée Rivest travaille sur la neuropsychologie et la perception visuelle. Elle étudie la perception des visages, des formes, et l'attention chez les individus qui souffrent de problèmes cognitifs. Professeure Rivest est affiliée à l'hôpital Baycrest. Elle offre des soins neuropsychologiques à des individus qui ont subi un dommage cérébral au niveau du système perceptuel.
Les interventions cliniques et les recherches du docteure Rivest concernent des individus atteints d’atrophie corticale postérieure, ayant des problèmes d'orientation topographique et des difficultés quant à la reconnaissance faciale et celle des objets.
